Air Gun Reviews

Testing and reviews of air rifles and pistol, both new and old. This can vary between a day out shooting to a sit down look at the rifle or pistol and a bit of target shooting. Also I try to do something a bit different occasionally, maybe a shoot off or attempt a  trick shot.  There is always something new to try. I don't test the latest and greatest because there are plenty of people that do that. I try to find something that's both interesting and informative.

I've tried shooting slug from different sub 12 fpe PCP rifles. In fact I've found that Prohunter Slugs work very well in most situations. The reason for choosing a slug over a pellet is the retained energy, over a distance.  Basically slugs hit much harder. A hollow point slug will deform much more that a hollow point pellet too. So, form a purely hunting point of view slugs are much more attractive. They do cost a bit more but I think its worth it. ProHunter slugs are hand swaged and therefore very high quality and very consistent. I've made a number of videos on both .22 and .177, using different rifles.
