The British Shooting 2024 was probably the biggest so far. I was there with The Sportsman Gun Centre again. This year I collected an award on behalf of Park Europe. We took the best night vision product 2024, beating Pulsar, Hik and many others. The Pard DS35 is still a ground breaking night vision digital scope and with the new smooth zoom update, its even better. One feature that is often overlooked is the long eye relief, making the scope suitable for all shooting styles. This year SGC won the retailer of the year award, Element optics and FX air rifles also picked up awards. I made a point of visiting my old friend Paddy at the Umarex Boys Club. Its always a pleasure to see Paddy and the gang.
For me the British Shooting Show is a lot of work but for most people visiting its a great day out and a chance to meet with like minded folks. It was certainly bigger this year, I did manage to meet up with a few instagram buddies. Andy from A.M Bushcraft, Terry from TA Hunterz and the usual suspects. Chris Parkin ( Chris Parking Shooting Sports), because of work and Russ Douglas, because he's every where!
