Night Vision Scopes

Infared night vision scopes and clip on units have been with us for a while now. Although the technology is well established, recent changes in the law have lead to new innovations. In fact there are some interesting times ahead.  I'll do my best to show you how are why the changes have been introduced. Also how to get the best bang for your buck.

This is a fast changing arena with improving technology.  It seems almost every week a new brand or model springs up. Even with the recent price improvements these are still a hefty investment.

In the UK we are restricted to sub 12fps and that make getting the most from your ammo important. There are now a good many air rifle slugs on the market. Not all slugs are created equal, so a little insight is required. I'll be keeping a close eye on the situation with lead and any ban.

Pellets are the staple diet of most air rifles. Progress has been made with materials and design. Every barrel is different so testing is the only way to know what you should be shooting. I can't promise that what works for me, will work for you. It may save you some time and money though.
